About DONKAY
Donkay (born Chukwuma Emmanuel Emengo) is a Nigerian artist whose music lives at the intersection of journey, raw emotion, and West African culture. Now based along the serene coast of Winneba, Ghana, Donkay turns his life across borders into a powerful musical experience.
Living in Winneba—where the ocean breeze meets rich cultural tradition—inspires music that is deeply personal yet universally resonant. Through lush Afrobeats rhythms, soulful reflections, and authentic storytelling, Donkay uses his sound to process real human feelings: adaptation, hope, passion, and belonging.
For Donkay, music is a bridge connecting his Nigerian roots with his Ghanaian home as celebration of West African heritage and a pure, unfiltered expression of the soul.
