About KiDi
Dennis Nana Dwamena, known professionally as KiDi, is a Ghanaian singer, songwriter, and multiple VGMA Artiste of the Year winner. Born on August 15, 1996, in Accra, KiDi discovered his passion for music at a young age and trained as a classical pianist before transitioning to contemporary Afrobeats.
KiDi rose to prominence with his smooth vocals, infectious melodies, and romantic Afrobeats productions. His songs "Say Cheese", "Touch It" — which became a global viral sensation after a dance challenge on TikTok in 2021 — and "Enjoyment" have earned him fans across Africa, Europe, and North America.
"Touch It" charted in over 14 countries and became one of the most viral African songs of the decade, accumulating over 100 million streams globally. KiDi has been featured by Swae Lee, Davido, and other international artists.
KiDi is a graduate of the University of Ghana (Legon) where he studied Business Administration. He is known for his polished image, his fashion sense, and his commitment to quality music production. He actively mentors young artists through the Lynx Entertainment artist development programme.
