About Stonebwoy

Livingstone Etse Satekla, known professionally as Stonebwoy, is a Ghanaian reggae and dancehall musician, entrepreneur, and VGMA Artist of the Decade. Born on March 5, 1988, in Ashaiman, Greater Accra, he discovered music as a child and was deeply influenced by Jamaican reggae legends.

Stonebwoy has redefined African dancehall, creating a uniquely Ghanaian sound that has earned him fans across Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean. His anthems such as "Nominate", "Most Original", and "Epistles of Mama" blend Jamaican dancehall rhythms with Ghanaian cultural lyrics and production.

A four-time VGMA Artist of the Year and the holder of the prestigious VGMA Artiste of the Decade award, Stonebwoy is one of the most decorated artists in Ghanaian music history. He has collaborated with international reggae legends including Beenie Man, Capleton, and Damian Marley.

Stonebwoy runs the Anloga Junction Music foundation, providing music education to youth in Ashaiman and surrounding communities. He is a passionate MUSIGA member advocating for African artists on the global stage.
